As I start to close yet another chapter in my life and start a new, I realize that one of the hardest finds to overcome is a place to call HOME. Yes, I am on the search for an apartment and have been for about a long three months now. I'm not quite sure what the average time is for a person to look but I can tell you it feels like ages. I have gone to an array of areas and locations yet nothing seems to really catch my eye. I will admit that I am a bit picky but I feel as though I shouldn't have to settle for less that what I really want and nor should anyone. Now I do have the understanding that one must be able to give and take on their expectations at times, I get it, but I refuse to settle for a closet sized apartment that they call a one bedroom at a rate of 875 a month. No thank you. So as my apartment search goes on, I have decided to put together a little viewing of what my DREAM apartment would possess and for that amount of time, however long it may take, I will sit and stare at the images of a dream that I hope will come true.
Okay so, before I show pictures I do have to say that I have an obsession with loft style housing hence the consistent open spaced homes below:
First, I want to wake up and fall asleep to this view every night...I envy her LOL!
This authentic looking brick wall reminds me of an old Italian village...
What I want more than anything is a kitchen that has size and room for me to be creative with my food...
The industrial style ceilings are fantastic...
I would definitely make this space my own "man cave"...
So there's a glimpse of my dream apartment. I know that the place I am in search for now will look nothing like these pictures, but like I said it doesn't hurt to imagine what could be.
